September is both Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Sickle Cell Awareness Month, making this month’s box especially personal.

A few years before I started making candles, I had the privilege of working as a Certified Child Life Specialist at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where I supported some of the brightest & bravest kids I’ve ever known. Growing up, my sister was also a hematology patient at Aflac and I was introduced to Child Life through her treatment journey.

So this month, we’re giving back to a place and a patient community that will forever hold a piece of my heart. A portion of every September Lingering Light box will benefit the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of ATL 💚
