🖤 Some moments make you reflect a little deeper on life…
I’m finally getting around to sharing all of our photos and videos from Bras for a Cause, where Empower Aesthetics had the honor of being a sponsor.
But before I share all the beautiful memories from that evening, I wanted to share something from my heart.
Not as a business owner. Just as Lynn.
As I listened to the speakers share their experiences with cancer and how their journeys changed their perspectives on life, I found myself reflecting on just how grateful I am for the life I get to live and the people I get to share it with.
Something I don’t think everyone realizes about what I do is that I get to become part of people’s lives in ways that go so much deeper than the services I provide.
I get to help someone prepare for one of the happiest days of their life—their wedding.
I get to experience the excitement, hope, and sometimes heartbreak that comes with someone’s IVF journey.
I get to celebrate pregnancies, new babies, and the moments when a mother begins to feel like herself again.
And I also get to walk alongside people facing cancer, witnessing their courage, vulnerability, strength, and sometimes their fear.
We hug. We cry. We laugh. We celebrate victories. And sometimes, we simply hold space for one another when words aren’t enough.
These aren’t just appointments to me. These are relationships. These are people. These are pieces of their lives that they have trusted me enough to share.
And that is something I will never take lightly.
While I have not personally experienced a cancer diagnosis, and I would never compare my experiences to the battles these incredible individuals have faced, I realized that I share something deeply meaningful with the perspective they spoke about.
An overwhelming appreciation for life.
For the little things.
For the people who cross our paths.
For the moments we often overlook because we’re too busy thinking about tomorrow.
I have always tried to live my life with tremendous gratitude. I love with my whole heart, I appreciate people deeply, and I genuinely want to give the very best of myself to those around me.
When someone chooses Empower Aesthetics, I don’t just see a client walking through the door.
I see a person with a story. Someone with hopes, insecurities, celebrations, struggles, and dreams.
And I feel incredibly fortunate when they allow me to become even a small part of that story.
That evening reminded me once again that life is precious. Not just the big, exciting milestones, but the quiet, ordinary moments that we sometimes forget to appreciate.
I hope I never lose that perspective.
I hope I always love this deeply, care this much, and find joy in the smallest things.
And I hope that every person who crosses my path leaves feeling that they mattered.

To the incredible individuals who shared their cancer journeys that evening, thank you for your courage, honesty, and perspective. Your words touched my heart.
And to everyone who has allowed me to be part of their lives, thank you for giving me so much more than you may ever realize.
