We couldn’t have done it without you. 🚌💪
When we called on our community for help pulling the bus back, you didn’t just show up; you showed us exactly what we’re capable of when we work together.

While we aren’t entirely in the clear yet, there is so much comfort in knowing we aren't walking this path alone.

Thank you for being the backbone of this journey. Your support gives us the strength to keep moving forward. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to navigate the road ahead.

🚨 URGENT: CRITICAL BLOOD SHORTAGE 🚨

Our regional blood supply is critically low, and we need our community and healthcare partners to act NOW.

Every day, hospitals depend on blood donations to care for trauma patients, emergency surgeries, mothers experiencing complications, cancer patients, and others facing life-threatening situations. Blood cannot be manufactured — it can only come from volunteer donors.

When supplies become critically low, there is less margin for emergencies.

We are calling on our EMS agencies, hospitals, first responders, healthcare partners, community organizations, and residents to do their part.

🩸 Schedule a blood donation
🩸 Encourage your team to donate
🩸 Share this message to expand awareness

One hour of your time could mean the difference between life and loss for someone in our region.

Please don’t wait. Donate today and help protect our communities.

From the first swing of the club to the last putt of the Occunet Classic, the Panhandle RAC has been deployed with planning and operational support with partners from Northwest Texas Hospital and Amarillo Office of Emergency Management from June 8-14, 2026. Combine this with planning and operational support for the Route 66 finale on June 13, 2026, it’s been a busy week with long hours for our team. Thank you to our partners at NWTH and to our regional partners who monitored our RMOC room for any needs. All of you make up the best region in the state and we are proud to have all of you as partners! Thanks for what you do!

🚑💙 National EMS Week 2026 | EMS for Children (EMSC) Day 💙🚑

Today, Tuesday, May 19, we recognize EMS for Children (EMSC) Day as part of National EMS Week 2026, observed May 17–23. Since 1974, EMS Week has honored the dedication of EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and first responders who work tirelessly to protect and serve our communities.

This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” highlights the importance of teamwork and collaboration in emergency care — especially when caring for our youngest patients. From specialized pediatric training to compassionate care during emergencies, EMS professionals make a difference in the lives of children and families every single day.

Thank you to all EMS personnel and healthcare partners who are committed to providing exceptional emergency care for children across our communities. 👧👦❤️
