And for just a moment, everything slows down. The sky reminds you that even after the hardest days, there is still beauty. There is still hope. And tomorrow is another chance to begin again.

Boys and I spent the past weekend in Florida for a family reunion. On the way down, we stopped through Charleston to have dinner with Garrett (and take him some things).

It was so great to see him and see extended family at reunion. We also spent time with friends (family).

Always thankful for friends!

Went paddling this morning before I had to go back to sleep for night shift. I needed some vitamin “sea” and 🌞!! It was a calm morning on the water, hardly any boats. The sound was smooth so it was easy to get around. Ended up going 2.4 miles.
I saw so many stingrays and skates!!

This week Carter attended a week long band camp with other local middle schools. They learned a few songs and performed today for the families. The theme was “Americana”! They all played so together!

My oldest enlisted in the United States Navy this morning! To say that we are proud would be an understatement. He’s off to boot camp then to “A” School. Can’t wait to get that phone call tonight. 😭
