Our Waterfall Wandering tour continues with a stop at Benton Falls.

On THIS Saturday, August 15, we’ll explore this beautiful waterfall that sits within the Cherokee National Forest.

This is a great beginner trail as the path is wide and mostly flat, with the exception of a few semi-steep steps leading to the base of the fall.

Join The H2O Life for a relaxing evening by the water as we let it all go during this year’s Chattanooga Water Lantern Festival.

We’ll convene. We’ll laugh. Some may cry, and that’s totally okay. Either way, we’ll write, draw, sketch all the things on our lanterns and collectively release them... symbolically releasing what needs to be released.

No time for a hike? Too hot out? I get it.

Don’t let that stop you though.

This, my friends, is a form of grounding or Earthing. I’m no scientist, so I won’t begin to talk about electrons or the Earth’s electric surface.

What I will say is I’ve, personally, found it to be helpful when I need to calm my nervous system.

It’s just one of the many tools I use to stay grounded.

Just over two weeks ago, I was afforded the opportunity to lead a grounding session at the Women In Travel Creator Summit held right here in my hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee.

In that session, a few ladies joined me at Miller Park for an opportunity to disconnect from the busyness conferences often bring.

We talked. We sat. We listened. We touched. We paused and grounded ourselves.

The takeaways?

Stay rooted.
Stay grounded.
Prioritize you.

I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I’m so glad I jumped in.

I’ll meet them in Ann Arbor, Michigan next year because the content creation/travel bug bit me and left a welcome mark on my soul.

It’s been two years since we summited Mount Kilimanjaro. Now it’s time to take our mission to the Andes Mountains. Yep! You heard it here first. We’re going to climb to the historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu!
