One of my son and I's mango trees stopped producing after Ian knocked it to the ground. We repositioned it upright, secured it with ties, and waited. It took four years, but look at it now. I am astonished by its resilience. Time is a transformative healer, and patience enables recovery to flourish from the unseen to the extraordinary. Something we all should keep in mind. We cannot transform overnight. We must be patient 💞💞💞

Michelle was born and raised in Florida and currently lives on Pine Island with her husband, Rick. They have two adult children, their son Ricky and daughter Madison.

She is a Registered Nurse with a BSN and has been practicing nursing since 2006. Her professional background includes cardiology and medical-surgical nursing. She is currently pursuing her MBA with a concentration in healthcare management at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Outside of work and school, Michelle enjoys spending time outdoors—especially being on the water, hiking, and enjoying Florida’s natural beauty.
