Maris, our sweet volunteer, brought in her 70-year-old Barbie doll today along with beautiful handmade outfits her mom once knitted. Lucille absolutely loved it she smiled, admired the dresses, and even had fun playing with the doll. Such a simple, beautiful moment of joy and memories. Thank you, Maris, for sharing that with us.

🎸🤠 Please join us in welcoming Cowboy Dale to the club for his very first visit! We were so happy to have him spend the afternoon with us, sharing his wonderful country music and guitar. He played so many familiar tunes that had everyone singing along, smiling, and even letting out a few “yeehaws!” Thank you, Cowboy Dale we can’t wait to have you back again soon! ❤️🎶

Happy 61st wedding anniversary to Don and Linda! 💛
Linda spent a lovely afternoon with us at the club today. We enjoyed a hot dog lunch, shared cake, and toasted the occasion with sparkling cider. She was so happy, and Don was just as joyful celebrating this special milestone.
High school sweethearts with 61 beautiful years together what a beautiful love story. Wishing you both many more happy years ahead! 🥂

We had a delightful Father’s Day picnic today for everyone. The menu included hot dogs, baked beans, green beans, chips, and of course, a refreshing drink. It was a simple but wonderful lunch, and everyone really enjoyed it because honestly, who doesn’t love a good hot dog?

Today’s activity with Cheryl was a sweet and fun one! 🍪 We made chocolate chip cookies from scratch right in a mug. Everyone had their own ingredients and followed step-by-step as we mixed everything together, then popped them in the microwave and watched them turn into warm, gooey cookies in just minutes.

To top it all off, we added a scoop of vanilla ice cream simple, interactive, and absolutely delicious! 🍦
