Last week, our very own Nurse Practitioner Preston Holifield had the privilege of speaking at an Alzheimer's Association community event in Jackson, Missouri, and it was an incredible experience!

It was inspiring to meet so many passionate community members, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and organizations who are committed to improving the lives of individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

👏 A special shoutout to the amazing community partners who were there, including Aging Matters, faculty from SEMO's Exercise Science Program, and many other organizations providing valuable resources to families throughout Southeast Missouri.

🙏 Thank you to the Alzheimer's Association for us to be a part of such a meaningful event. It was an honor to share, learn, and connect with so many wonderful people. We are already looking forward to the next opportunity!

We had such a wonderful time at our Guardian Primary Care Women’s Health Luncheon last Thursday!

A huge thank you to three incredible local professionals who shared their knowledge and passion with our community:

😁 Erin Randol, Licensed Clinical Therapist with Sunrise Therapy — providing outstanding resources for Post-Partum "Mom-Rage"

🤰 Andrea Crafton — Licensed Perinatal Therapist — helping mothers and families navigate the emotional and mental health challenges that can come with pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.

🍼 Jentsy Philpot — Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) — providing expert breastfeeding and lactation support to help moms feel confident and supported during those early months.

At Guardian Primary Care, we believe healthcare is about more than treating illness. It’s about building a strong support system for women, children, and families in our community.
