She booked for lip filler… but we had a little more to talk about! 💋

A new patient called to schedule lip filler. After a few screening questions over the phone, we got her on the schedule!

At her appointment, we reviewed her history, assessed her facial anatomy, and talked about her goals.

And here’s what I told her: Her lips were already pretty perfect!

Could we add a little volume and improve some symmetry? Absolutely! But I also saw an opportunity to create better overall facial balance with a little chin filler.

After discussing my recommendations, she agreed!

We added subtle volume to her lips and used the remaining filler in her chin.

Two areas treated. One syringe. Same $600 lip filler appointment. 🤍

This is why I love a customized approach to aesthetics. Sometimes the best results come from looking beyond the area you originally came in to treat!

15 years as a Physician Assistant. Another 10 years certified. And one very proud PA. ❤️

I PASSED MY PANRE! 🎉

This weekend, I sat for my Physician Assistant National Recertifying Examination, and today I received the news that I passed!

I have been a PA since 2011. My career began in primary care, followed by more than a decade in orthopedics, and eventually led me to opening Paradise Aesthetics in 2022.

Over the years, my career has evolved tremendously, but one thing has remained constant: my commitment to medicine, continued education, and providing excellent patient care.

Preparing for this exam was HARD. After years of practicing in specialized areas of medicine, returning to the enormous breadth of knowledge required for the PANRE was humbling. Add in running a business, raising a family, and everything else life brings, and it was one of the more challenging things I’ve taken on in quite some time.

But I worked hard. I made the time. I studied. And I did it.

I’m someone who often moves straight from one accomplishment to the next, already thinking about what I could have done better. But today, I’m allowing myself to be genuinely PROUD. Not just because I passed, but because I know what it took to get here.

And what better time to celebrate than PA Week!🎉

I’m incredibly proud of this profession, the opportunities it has given me, and the career I’ve built over the last 15 years.

Here’s to another decade as a certified PA! ❤️

Two months. A customized treatment plan. And results that speak for themselves. 🤍

It’s been over 5 months since I traded orthopedics for full-time aesthetics, but some things never change. 😂

After 12 years in ortho, I walked away with so much more than medical experience. I made some pretty incredible friendships along the way.

Different specialty, same friendships… and apparently, I’m still not allowed near her pens. 🖊️❤️
