A wrist monitor may be easy to pack, but the American Heart Association recommends an automatic, cuff-style upper-arm monitor. It also advises measuring around your upper arm so you can choose the correct cuff size; wrist and finger monitors are not recommended because they give less reliable readings.
Once you have a supported Bluetooth blood pressure monitor, SmartBP can connect with it to help you record, organize, and visualize readings measured with that separate monitor. You can also generate organized reports that may be shared with healthcare professionals.
