How you communicate can shape how people respond to your ideas, your leadership, and your presence in the room.

High Impact Presentations helps you become more intentional about the way you connect with others — building confidence, thinking on your feet, reading your audience, and communicating in a way people remember.

Those skills matter in a lot more places than behind a podium.

We don’t need a big initiative to show our teams we care.

Put the laptop away during a conversation. Remember something someone told you. Ask one more question before offering your opinion. Recognize the way someone handled a tough situation. Give feedback that shows you were actually paying attention.

Small behaviors make empathy visible — and our teams notice them.

What’s one small thing a leader has done that stuck with you?

You announce a change. Everyone attends the meeting. The plan looks solid.

A few weeks later, people have questions, teams interpret the plan differently, old habits start creeping back in, everyone is busy, and the energy that surrounded the launch starts fading.

That’s where leadership becomes especially important.

Dale Carnegie’s new white paper explores four conditions that help organizations keep change moving: orientation, translation, reinforcement, and momentum.

Consider this a little professional reading for the long weekend. The white paper is free to download this Labor Day.

Somehow, we’re already down to our final week with this amazing group!

Hunter Zahorsky of BMWC Constructors received the Breakthrough Award. Hunter showed us the power of being a supportive, caring presence for others and how the experiences of those around us can inspire greater optimism, resilience, and confidence in our own challenges.

Eric Welp of IMMI received the Outstanding Performance Award. Eric stepped boldly outside his comfort zone and brought empathy and authenticity into his communication, helping create an environment where others felt comfortable doing the same.

Congratulations, Hunter and Eric! And to the entire Transformational Leadership group: let’s make this last session count. 🎉

You’ve probably learned a lot about leadership simply by being a leader.

Transformational Leadership gives you a place to be more intentional about what comes next — how you communicate, how you build trust, how you respond to challenges, and how you bring out the best in the people around you.

We have another opportunity coming up to do that work alongside other professionals who are growing, too.

Take a look at our upcoming Transformational Leadership sessions and find one that works for you.

Every strong team is made up of individuals who had someone invest in their potential along the way.

A manager gave them an opportunity. A mentor offered advice. A course helped something click. Someone trusted them with a challenge that stretched their abilities.

That’s worth celebrating during Workforce Development Month.

Who helped you grow professionally? Tag them below.

You don’t need to own a business to think like an entrepreneur.

At work, it can look like noticing a problem and taking ownership of it. Trying an idea. Asking a better question. Seeing an opportunity and actually doing something with it.

Those habits become especially valuable as AI changes the way we work.

We all have that one lesson we had to learn the long way.

Maybe it changed the way you lead, communicate, handle challenges, or simply approach your workday.

Dolly Parton gave the world plenty to appreciate: her talent, her humor, her generosity, and a remarkable ability to make people feel valued.

As we reflect on her life, we’re reminded of her qualities that we see in great leaders: genuine interest in others, confidence in who you are, kindness in how you treat people, and the courage to keep growing.

Her words carried those qualities, too. We’re sharing three that feel especially meaningful to us.

Thank you for the music, the wisdom, and the example, Dolly.

Which of these three quotes speaks to you most?
