New rules require some individuals to engage in certain activities each month (e.g., employment, job training, education, or volunteering) to maintain Medicaid coverage - use this screener to see if you are affected.

Beginning January 1, 2027, some HIP members will need to meet new work requirements to maintain their coverage.

‼️HIP Work Requirements are coming‼️

Beginning January 1, 2027, some Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) members ages 19–64 (who are not exempt) will be required to complete 80 hours each month through qualifying activities such as:
✔️ Employment
✔️ Education or classes
✔️ Job training
✔️ Community service

Be sure to review the exemption criteria to see if the requirements apply to you.
