Soulcore

Soulcore A movement to nourish body, mind & soul while meditating on the life of Christ through the Rosary. A gentle path to grow in virtue and cultivate interior peace.

SoulCore is an apostolate that intentionally engages the whole person in the sacred experience of the rosary. Integrating the prayers of the rosary with core strengthening, stretching and functional movements to nourish body & soul and encourage deeper reflection on the virtues. SoulCore was born out of the desire, the calling really, to strengthen our physical bodies while strengthening our souls

through prayer. Our logo, the A intertwined with the M, means “Under the Protection of Mary.” We deepen our devotion to Jesus and Mary by praying the rosary, helping us to remain aware that we are constantly under their protection. As stated so beautifully in a meditation book by Richard Beyer, In meditating on the mysteries of the rosary, Jesus also helps us to interpret and understand the meaning of His life and death. The more we reflect on the lives of Jesus and Mary through the mysteries, the more we become like them in mind and heart. By means of the rosary, the Spirit of God gradually transfigures our hearts and minds to resemble those of Christ and His Blessed Mother.

Why would I pray with my body? Because sometimes stillness isn't enough, we need to move, breathe, and let the Rosary carry us into His peace. 🕊️🤍

On this day 14 years ago, the first seeds of SoulCore were planted in a church parking lot, just outside our Adoration Chapel, through a “YES” to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

What began with a few friends gathered in a basement has, by God’s grace and through the loving intercession of our Blessed Mother, grown into something we never could have imagined. Today, more than 250 certified SoulCore Leaders across the country and around the world are inviting others to experience the beauty of praying the Rosary with their whole being -
body, mind, and soul.

God simply cannot be outdone in generosity!

Looking back, we are filled with so much gratitude for all the ways He has guided and grown this apostolate - often in ways we never expected. Our prayer has always been that SoulCore would remain a simple and humble instrument of healing, peace, and growth in virtue, drawing each of us closer to the Heart of Christ through His Mother.

And to all of you who have been part of this journey - whether you’ve prayed with us, led SoulCore, shared it with a friend, or supported the mission along the way - thank you. We are so grateful to be sharing the beauty and transforming power of the Rosary with you.

“Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:15

May our Blessed Mother continue to take each of us by the hand and lead us ever more deeply into the Heart of her Son.💙

Someone asked us to pray for teenagers struggling with their mental health. So we are. 🤍

If you're a mom carrying this quietly, you're not carrying it alone. When one of us asks, all of us pray — that's what makes this a community.

We drop the intention box in our Stories every week. Watch there and leave yours — a Leader will carry it in prayer.

We might often think that an encounter with our Lord only occurs in large, dramatic moments — but that is not always the case. In fact, encounters with our Lord may be closer than we think, occurring in the quiet of everyday moments. The beautiful thing is that in every encounter of our day, we can often find our Lord working in those moments, even if we might not see it right away.

A delicious meal allows us to enjoy the earth that the Lord had created and its fruits. A light shining through the windows is a beautiful reminder of another day the Lord had given us and a symbol of the light we carry as followers of Christ. As we move our bodies, we thank the Lord for the gift of movement and are reminded of our responsibility to care of them as temples of the Holy Spirit. Conversations with friends can reveal how the Lord is working in others’ lives — and how we might be called to impact the lives of others.

The beauty of the ordinary is that even in these seemingly mundane moments, our Lord can and is revealing Himself to us. We just have to seek Him out.🤍

How do you find Christ in the ordinary? Let us know in the comments! 👇

Two words. A whole lot of trust. 🤍

This Hail Mary is for whoever is waiting on God to provide — and for everyone praying that same prayer quietly today. When one of us asks, all of us pray. That's what makes this a community and not just a feed.

We drop the intention box in our Stories every week. Watch there and leave yours — a Leader will carry it in prayer.

Celebrating the Feast of the Queenship of Mary today, we meditate on the 5th Glorious Mystery, specifically the virtue of trusting in Mary’s intercession. Our Mother. Our Warrior. Asking for her intercession, she unfailingly brings us closer to her Son. 🤍

“.... The Queenship of Mary is not a sentimental feast. Whenever biblical people spoke of kings or queens, they were speaking of warriors. The question for us is: Which side are we on? Those trained in the Jesuit spiritual tradition know of the “two standards” meditation, which compels us to make the simple choice: In which army do you serve?

We fight, of course, not with the puny weapons of the world but with the weapons of the Spirit; by God we fight. So don’t just honor and acknowledge the Queenship of Mary; get in her army.” - Bishop Barron
