Some reminders about why we do what we do just hit a little differently.

This week, we received a letter from Mercy Foundation and Dignity Health letting us know that one of our former patients, Ms. Marguerite Lawrence, made a gift in honor of the Mountain Manor team.

She wrote:

“Both my husband and myself have received excellent care at Mountain Manor. Nurses are friendly, helpful, and available as needed.”

Reading those words meant so much to all of us.

Healthcare can be challenging, but moments like this remind us that the little things matter. Taking the time to listen, being there when a patient needs reassurance, working together as a team those are the things people remember long after they’ve gone home.

I’m incredibly proud of our team. They show up every day with compassion, heart, and a genuine commitment to doing what’s right for our patients.

Had such a fun time celebrating Western Day for Nursing Home Week today 🤠

Our team really showed out, and it was great seeing everyone come together, dress up, laugh, and just enjoy the day. Between the bull riding, cowboy hats, and all the teamwork, it made for a really fun atmosphere for both staff and residents.

These are the moments that make this field special. Grateful to work with such an amazing team that always knows how to bring energy, positivity, and fun into what we do every day.
