Momentum WORK, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and disability service provider. (formerly UCP WORK, Inc.)

was founded in 1968 by the Kiwanis Club of Santa Barbara. The organization is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors and employs a staff of approximately 200 employees to administer and provide services to over 400 people. maintains offices in Santa Maria, Santa Barbara and Carpinteria (Santa Barbara County), and provides services throughout the Tri-Counties (San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura).

Join us for 1st Thursday on September 3rd from 5:00–8:00 PM at our art gallery, Santa Barbara Art Works, located at 28 E. Victoria Street.

We’ll be celebrating the opening reception of a new exhibition featuring the work of Reiko Karl. This special collection highlights Reiko’s creative journey and artistic growth over the years, bringing together two of her favorite subjects: pandas and landscapes.

Enjoy music by DJ Chuck Jefferson and light refreshments served by Mo’s To-Go Catering.

Momentum WORK, Inc. is proud to be present in our community and support meaningful efforts like the annual Day of Hope.

This special day helps raise funds for patients at Mission Hope Cancer Center and supports the fight against cancer. We’re grateful for the opportunity to volunteer, give back, and stand alongside so many people making a difference at Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation.

Our Adaptive Art students at San Marcos High School are back at it! 🐢🎨

We used clay to create the cutest turtles while learning about form—exploring how shapes can become three-dimensional works of art. We love seeing their creativity, focus, and confidence shine through each hands-on project!

We joined an “Under the Sea” class, and it was such a fun, creative experience! Jose guided us through the craft, and we each made our own ocean-inspired creations. As you can see, we let our imaginations run wild.
