The heat did not stop our Explorers from getting out into the community. We had fun at lunch and bowling on Tuesday. A few of our Explorers went the dollar store to pick out some snacks and Braum’s for ice cream. And we finished our outings with a trip to the CR Smith museum.

Everyone at Caring Pathways has been busy! Last week we said goodbye to our wonderful director Jake. Thank you to everyone that came to say goodbye and contributed to his going away gift! Our explorers have been busy both out in the community and at Caring Pathways, from bowling and movies to lunches around town and trips to the Fair Park Aquarium, our explorers are always having fun.

Our Explorers have been busy over that last few weeks. We’ve been bowling. We’ve gone out to lunch. Seen a movie or two. Went to the aquarium and had some snacks and quiet time at the lake. Took the DART downtown for lunch and went sight seeing. We’ve been busy!

Our clients were very busy last week! From bowling on Tuesday to lunch at Slim Chickens and a trip to Lake Grapevine on Wednesday. Going to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and lunch at Taco Bell on Thursday, and a few quiet trips for donuts and enjoying the park; our clients had fun out in the community last week.

Today’s adventures took us to Founders Plaza at DFW Airport. The clients brought their lunches and we enjoyed watching the planes takeoff and land while we ate lunch. Fun fact, there are speakers at the park and you can hear the pilots and the Air Traffic Controllers communicate with each other. I’m pretty sure the clients could have sat there all daylong watching the planes come and go. ✈️✈️🛫🛬

The Monday Lunch Bunch let me tag along on their trip to Chilis 🌶️. We had a wonderful time eating cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. The clients worked on selecting what they wanted from the menu and relaying it to the waiter.

A few of our clients walked up the street to a nearby park with one of our client specialists. These girls took full advantage of the nice day to hop on the swings and swing! The two young fells enjoyed walking on the trail and the nice spring afternoon.
