💙 Please join us in welcoming Kesley Allen, PharmD, to the Hometown Pharmacy team!

Kesley is a Carrollton native who has always dreamed of building her career right here in her hometown. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Missouri–Columbia (Mizzou) and completed pharmacy school through UMKC’s satellite program at Mizzou.

Kesley has been part of Hometown Pharmacy for the past seven years, starting as a pharmacy technician, then becoming an intern, and now stepping into her role as a pharmacist. Her journey with Hometown began even earlier, when she job shadowed with us as a high school student and knew she wanted to pursue pharmacy and serve her hometown community.

Outside of work, Kesley enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, planting flowers, and caring for her many houseplants! 🌿

What she loves most about working in Carrollton is the opportunity to know and care for patients as friends, neighbors, and fellow members of the community. She’s excited to continue learning and growing as a pharmacist while providing the best care possible to the people she’s proud to call home.

August is National Immunization Awareness Month!

Did you know that RSV isn’t just a childhood illness? Older adults are at greater risk for serious RSV illness, including hospitalization and pneumonia.

The CDC recommends RSV vaccination for:
• Adults 75+
• Adults 50–74 at increased risk for severe RSV
