🚌 Sheila needs a few new drivers!

Our little white Compassion bus spends Mondays and Fridays cruising Bartow County—picking up neighbors who need a ride to the Compassion Center and, just as importantly, making sure they have a way home.

We’re looking for a few compassionate people willing to take the wheel and help Sheila do what she does best: drive hope around Bartow County. 💙

No CDL needed—just a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, a little patience, and a heart for people. Sheila, the gas, and the opportunity to make someone’s day are all provided.

🗓 Mondays & Fridays
⏰ Pickups: approximately 8–11 AM
🏠 Return trips: approximately 12:30–3:30 PM
🚐 You don’t have to commit to every Monday or Friday—we’d love to build a team of drivers who can share the load!

Sometimes helping someone take their next step starts by simply giving them a ride. ❤️

Come drive Sheila. Drive hope. Be the hands and feet of Jesus.

POV: You’re spending a Saturday with the Compassion Center Mobile Medical Clinic.

A lot happens behind the scenes, but at the heart of it all is simple: meeting people where they are and making sure they have access to the care they need.

Come take a look inside a Saturday with us!

Some of our Day Use Serve Team members shared what they wish more people understood about homelessness and poverty—and their responses were powerful. 💙

One thing we can all do? Lead with kindness. Treating people experiencing homelessness with dignity, compassion, and respect doesn’t cost a thing.

💭 What’s one thing you wish you understood more about homelessness or poverty? Share it in the comments.

Clean clothes are a luxury many people don’t have access to—but they shouldn’t be. 🤍

For someone experiencing homelessness, having a safe place to shower, do laundry, and put on clean clothes can mean so much more than we realize. It can mean dignity. Confidence. A fresh start.

At Compassion Center, we believe basic necessities should never feel like luxuries.

Your support helps make that possible. ❤️

✨ A sneak peek at something exciting in the works! ✨

Renovations are underway in the Compassion Center’s day-use space—and this transformation will allow us to increase both the number of people we can welcome and the ways we can serve them.

We’re incredibly grateful to United Way of Bartow County for partnering with us to make this renovation possible, and to Martin General Contracting for taking on the task and bringing the vision to life.

We can’t wait to show you the finished space. Stay tuned—more progress is coming! 💙

Day Use Serve Team 💙

Serving isn’t always about what we say—it’s about showing up, lending a hand, and caring for others in practical ways.

We’re grateful for every volunteer who gives their time and energy to help make the Day Use Center a welcoming place for our neighbors. Together, we’re serving with compassion and making a difference. 🤝

What you may think is small, is life changing for someone else.

Our Day Use center has resources for people to wash clothes, take showers, get a bite to eat, and rest!

Help us continue making an impact.✨
