Some people walk into Celebrate Recovery carrying hurts that no one else can see.

Did you know that food issues can be a hang-up?

Food can become more than fuel.

It can become comfort.
A coping mechanism.
A reward.
A punishment.
A place we run when life feels overwhelming.

Whether it’s overeating, undereating, binge eating, emotional eating, or constantly obsessing over food and body image, those struggles can keep us stuck in shame and isolation.

But there is hope.🙌

Jesus isn’t waiting for you to get it all together before He loves you. He meets you right where you are and offers healing that goes deeper than behavior, He heals the heart.

Did you know that people-pleasing can be a hang-up?

Always saying “yes,” even when you’re exhausted.

Avoiding conflict because you’re afraid people won’t like you.

Basing your worth on someone else’s approval.
People-pleasing may look like kindness on the outside, but often it’s rooted in fear, insecurity, or the need for acceptance.

God never called us to live for the approval of people. He calls us to live for Him.

Recovery is learning that your identity isn’t found in making everyone else happy. It’s found in being loved, accepted, and chosen by Christ.

You don’t have to earn God’s love, and you don’t have to carry the impossible burden of meeting everyone’s expectations.

Healing begins when you stop performing for people and start trusting God.

💙 Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to let go of unhealthy patterns, find freedom, and discover who God created you to be.
