A shoutout to our own .art ! He came to us just over a year ago and has killed it ever since. A strong backround in fine art, graphic design, as well as marketing and management has made him a rising star at our genpop location (115 sw Maynard rd) which is an extremely hi speed competitive environment to begin with. Think lord of the flies but with a bunch of overachieving art nerds. We love this piece, a rework coverup that he absolutely knocked out of the park. Today we’d like to focus on San, an amazing artist who works over at our apocalypse girl; interrupted shop (124 sw Maynard rd) he does absolutely awesome work, but in an amazing efficient way that makes it accessible to everyone! We are now looking to hire two tattoo artists and one piercer.
Artists must have strong art skills, great people skills, and be self motivated and a fluent working knowledge of predominant styles. Management experience a plus. A good portfolio and clientele are preferred. Spanish a huge plus.
We are a very busy shop with a high op tempo.
Piercer must also be self motivated, responsible, experienced and able to work with others well. Again, management experience a plus.
For both, Hours are long and expectations are high. We are looking for people who do this job because they love it. Not because they have to.
No Drugs, No Drama.
Sexuality, Gender, and Politics stay outside the shop, we love all people and honestly don’t care what gender you are, who you are intimate with, who you vote for, or who or what want you pray to. You will be judged only on your abilities to do your job.

We want people who come to work every day because they want to, not because they have to. We work hard to make this a creative environment where people want to be here. Most of our artists and piercers come in on their days off. Becuae we are fun and super awesome. Because we are here to support you, as an artist or a piercer, and as a human being.
We offer a great work environment, free food and drink, generous monthly bonuses and prizes, trips, etc…
Compensation… Honestly depends on you. But even our shiniest newbies make 55%
Several or our artists and one of our piercers take home a healthy six digits. The more you do, the more you make. Meaning, as your gross earnings go up, your percentage goes up, ie, you work harder and better, you keep the extra. Shop earning form you stay the same. Pretty neat, we think.
