The greatest gift I’ve given myself this year is permission to linger.
We live in a culture that moves incredibly fast. Between endless scrolling, inflation stretching our attention and our finances, packed schedules, and the pressure to constantly produce, it’s easy for beautiful moments to become just another photo forgotten in our camera roll. We experience life, post about it, and immediately move on to the next thing.
Vlogging has become a quiet act of resistance for me.
Capturing these experiences in longer-form videos has allowed me to slow down, revisit conversations, relive laughter, and fully re-experience moments that otherwise would’ve felt fleeting. Watching these memories back reminds me that joy deserves to be savored.
If you’ve been feeling like life has become fragmented or rushed, I hope this vlog encourages you to create your own “side quests” and to hold onto the moments that make you feel the most zest. Sometimes healing looks like giving yourself permission to slow down long enough to remember that your life is happening right now.
✨ Thank you for coming along with me.
