••WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A THERMOGRAM•• 1️⃣Appointment Duration:
A standard full body session takes approximately 60 minutes, while a breast imaging session takes 45 minutes
2️⃣Health Review:
Before the imaging begins, we will go over your completed questionnaire and detailed health history forms (submitted online).
3️⃣Preparation:
You will be taken to a private imaging room with a divider for privacy. The thermographer will walk you through all of the positions you will need to be standing in for imaging purposes.
4️⃣Imaging Process:
To acclimate to the room temperature, you will be asked to fully undress (breast imaging requires only un******ng from the waist up). Acclimation is 15 minutes. A female Clinical Thermographer will be present to answer any questions.
5️⃣Examination:
The imaging itself takes only a few minutes to complete. The Thermographer will take a series of images from multiple angles, including front, lateral, and oblique views. Images are specific to body region.
6️⃣Results & Consultation:
Your results will be ready in approximately in 7-10 business days. A virtual wellness consultation will be scheduled to review your findings with a certified Thermologist.
7️⃣Understanding Your Results:
You will review your thermography images and learn about any existing or potential health concerns. Guidance will be provided on improving your health and reducing those risks.
8️⃣Complimentary Wellness Follow-Up:
This will be a virtual call with your thermographer. We will provide recommendations, tips & a list of practitioners based on your clinical findings discussed with our Thermologist.
This follow-up wellness consultation is free of charge.
