Happy cows, golden fall grass, and some much-needed Wyoming rain. 🌾🌧️ There’s something beautiful about slowing down and appreciating the process. No beef ready just yet, but these babies are growing a little every day! We’re trusting the grass to do its job, letting nature take its course, and giving our cattle time to grow the way they’re meant to.

Here are some fun facts about Belted Galloways!

Most of our mama cows are Belted Galloways, and they hold a pretty special place in our herd.
When Jack was 14, he saw and branded a Belted Galloway for the first time. It was love at first sight! From that day on, he dreamed of one day owning a herd of his own. That dream finally came true a couple of years ago when he had the opportunity to buy a small herd of Belted Galloways. And now, years later, these fuzzy “double-stuffed Oreos” hold a special place in our hearts and have become a big part of our story.

If you don’t own one of these yet, you need one! 🤩 I went and looked it up, it’s called a meat masher! It makes breaking up ground beef so much faster and easier, and I know I’ll be using it all the time.
