Rebekah started the Intuitive Food Program at the Center for Change in 1999, she worked at MonteNido Treatment Center, Pepperdine University, the Eating Disorder Center of California, Psychological Care and Healing, New Directions Eating Disorder Treatment, and La Ventana. Rebekah was a reviewer of the American Dietetic Association Position Paper on Eating Disorders, she has presented at the Renfr
ew Center Conference, NEDA Conference and various universities on the Treatment of Eating Disorders. She was a contributor to Carolyn Costin's, "Eating Disorder Sourcebook." She has written several books on eating disorders which include: "Real World Recovery- Intuitive Food Program Curriculum for the Treatment of Eating Disorders," "One Day at a Time- Food Journal," Bite Size Pieces- Create a Foundation," "Experiential Eating," "Return to Health- an Eating Disorder Guidebook," and "Twenty Five Years after Anorexia." Rebekah did have an eating disorder, did go through a time where her body was at a higher weight than natural, had body dysmorphia disorder and criticized herself for practically everything. But thankfully (over twenty years ago) made a choice to let go of her eating disorder. Rebekah practices what she preaches, is an intuitive eater, loves her body, and has two amazing children. Rebekah has every confidence that you can also have a life free from your eating disorder and societal food and weight influence. Private and group online video nutrition counseling is available.
