A little catch-up from CJA’s Place! 💙💛

We’ve been busy enjoying outings, birthday celebration with our besties at Country Paradise Living, LLC Serving Special needs in our Community ,learning new skills, getting our steps in, and spending time together! 🛍️🎉🧼📚🌳

From the mall to the library, park, soap-making, and more—we’ve had lots of fun and lots of smiles!

We had a wonderful week filled with learning, fun, and community experiences! 💙

Our besties practiced cooking and life skills while making spaghetti 🍝, visited the library 📚, enjoyed lunch together at Whataburger 🍔, and spent some time at the park, relaxing at the pavilion and enjoying the beautiful morning. 🌳☀️

Yesterday, we also stopped by Petunia’s Rescued Friends 🐾 to learn more about their organization and future volunteer opportunities. We’re hoping our besties will have a chance to volunteer there in the future and give back to our community. 💕🐾

We are so thankful for another wonderful week of learning, growing, socializing, and making memories! 🙏🏻💙

🌟 Another wonderful week at CJA’s Place, LLC! 🌟

We kicked off the week with a meaningful volunteer opportunity at Vista Community Church, where our individuals helped fill backpacks with school supplies for a local elementary school. 🎒✏️ It was a wonderful opportunity to give back and be involved in our community! ❤️

We also enjoyed lunch together at Castroville Regional Park under the pavilion. 🌳🥪

📚 We visited our local library, where we enjoyed coloring, computer time and social interaction.

🛍️ We stopped by All Local Market in Castroville, where we purchased some snacks! 😋

Back at the center, we also enjoyed crafts, puzzles, and other fun activities that kept everyone engaged and having a great time. 🎨🧩✨

And we ended the week with a very special celebration! 🎉🎂 We were invited by Country Paradise Living, LLC Serving Special needs in our Community for a birthday celebration. Everyone enjoyed pizza, laughter, friendship, and a fun social outing at Peter Piper Pizza! 🍕🥳

💙💛 What a great first week of August at CJA’s Place, LLC! 🩷🤍

We kicked off the month working on cooking skills by making pancakes! 🥞 We also ventured out into the community for some shopping and thrifting at Goodwill, working on those everyday community and independent living skills.

Our week also included time at the library and park, along with on-site activities, crafts, and decorating our center with some of our Besties’ favorite things! 🎨✨

And today, Friday, we spent the day at the Splash Pad in Poteet, Texas! 💦☀️ Afterward, we enjoyed lunch and fellowship with our Besties from Country Paradise in Poteet, giving everyone another opportunity to socialize, connect, and build friendships. 💙

As we wrap up another wonderful month, I’m feeling especially grateful for all of the smiles, laughter, and memories we shared this week at CJA’s Place. 💙💛

Our Besties enjoyed a fun visit to the SAMSAT Area 21 Museum, spent time at the library and the park, played games, got creative with crafts, and even enjoyed an outing to Ingram Park Mall to get in some extra steps!

Thank you to everyone in our community for your continued support and for the inquiries we’ve been receiving. It truly means so much and reminds us that families are looking for meaningful opportunities for their loved ones.

✨ Happy Friday from CJA’s Place! 💙💛

What a fantastic week we’ve had!

This week our besties enjoyed:
📚 Visiting the library
🎨 Arts and crafts
🎲 Fun games together
🎬 A free movie at the Rainbow Theater
🏪 Supporting a local business during its soft grand opening
🛍️ Browsing a community rummage sale

Every activity is an opportunity to build friendships, encourage independence, learn new skills, and stay connected with our wonderful community.

We’re also excited to share that we’ve received another inquiry from a family, and we’re hopeful to welcome a new bestie to CJA’s Place soon! 💙

Thank you to our families and our community for your continued support. We are truly grateful for every opportunity to create meaningful memories together.

💙💛 Our Besties enjoyed a fun-filled week of learning, friendship, and community! This week’s outings included visits to the library, Walmart, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General. While on-site at CJA’s Place, we stayed busy with games, arts and crafts, painting, and other engaging activities that encourage creativity, socialization, and skill-building. 🎨🧩

🪻 Today’s highlight was our visit to Doe Re Mi Lavender Farm in Moore, Texas! We enjoyed strolling through the beautiful lavender gardens, visiting the café for delicious treats, meeting the animals, feeding the emus, goats, and donkey, and browsing the charming gift shop. We also fell in love with the adorable Silkie chickens! 🐐🫏🦤🐓

The farm also has two greenhouses, which we didn’t have a chance to explore this visit, so we’ll definitely have to save those for next time! 😊

A heartfelt thank you to Rob and Ann for your warm hospitality and for making our visit so special. We can’t wait to come back! If you’re looking for a relaxing and family-friendly day trip, we highly recommend visiting Doe Re Mi Lavender Farm in Moore, Texas, and supporting this wonderful local business. 💜

Another great week is in the books at CJA’s Place, LLC! 💙💛

This week was filled with laughter, friendship, and meaningful moments. We celebrated a special birthday with donuts, enjoyed outings to the library and the park, had lunch at Whataburger, and practiced shopping skills at Dollar Tree, where our Besties had the opportunity to make their own purchases and build confidence with everyday independence.

Back at the center, we enjoyed playing dominoes, cards, games, and creating fun crafts together. Every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and make lasting memories.

We were also excited to welcome a visitor who came to learn more about our program. We are grateful for the opportunity to share what CJA’s Place has to offer and hope to welcome another Bestie to our CJA’s Place family soon!

Our Besties enjoyed so many wonderful activities this week, including a free movie day at the Rainbow Theater featuring Kung Fu Panda 4 🎬🍿, arts and crafts at the center 🎨, a visit to the library 📚, and a special community lunch hosted by Castroville State Bank in celebration of the Fourth of July 🇺🇸🌭🍪🥤.

My heart is so full and grateful for the service coordinators and case managers who continue to reach out, inquire, and show interest in C.J.A.’s Place, LLC. Your support and trust mean so much! 💙

We are excited and hopeful to welcome new Besties soon as we continue learning, growing, and making special memories together. 🫶✨

This week, our Besties enjoyed a variety of activities both on-site and in the community. We traveled to San Antonio, Hondo, and our local Walmart, where we practiced important life skills like shopping and self-checkout. We also spent time on arts and crafts, painting, music, and enjoying time together.

We’re so proud of our Besties as they continue learning, growing, and building independence every day! 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to the service coordinators, parents, family members, and caregivers who have reached out and expressed interest in CJA’s Place, LLC. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to the opportunity to welcome more Besties to our program in the near future. 💙💛
