💪Saturday Spotlight💪
Tom Walker is one of our most faithful and stalwart members at the SWPDFIT gym.
Tom comes from a small town in Utah, the youngest of his family, and heavily involved in sports and adventures.
Through the influence of an early teacher, Tom found his future calling early in life. He knew he would also become a teacher and that goal steered him through decisions in his life.
Tom spent a long time working at Bryce Canyon and also became a part of the National Guard. Shortly after reaching his goal of becoming a teacher, Tom became responsible in large part for pioneering special education in southern Utah. This timing coincidence was likely "meant to be", because Tom went on to influence many students, parents, teachers, and administrators. After a successful teaching career and setting a powerful example of how special education should be carried out, Tom continued to spread his influence in administration.
Tom and his wife Carol have a healthy prosperity and continue to enjoy an outgoing lifestyle. Tom stays as active as ever and carries a demeanor that shows how much he loves life.
Tom always brings positivity to the gym and is one of the constant driving forces of the SWPDFIT family.
Tom has the warrior spirit. 💥

💪Saturday Spotlight💪
We can all agree that comradery is invaluable in any battle, and Danny is the comradery man at the SWPDFIT gym.
Danny has lived in a few different places throughout New Mexico and Texas, and ended up here in Cedar City. He was heavily involved in sports growing up, and went on to develop mechanical and technical skills. Danny found a lot of pride and success in his work and was able to showcase his skills in many settings.
After being drawn together, seemingly though fate, Danny and his wife Shari will soon be celebrating 25 years of marriage!
Danny has been with us from the beginning and always brings a competitive and outgoing presense to the gym. We know him for his sly smile and the wise-cracks muttered under his breath, and we wouldn't be the same without him.
Danny puts the STEADY in Rock Steady💥

💪Saturday Spotlight💪
Our gym is truly filled with amazing people, and one of the most amazing is definitely Bill.
Bill had lived in many different places throughout his life but now calls Utah "home". He and his wife Judy have created a legacy of love and compassion through foster care service and caring for numerous children with various health problems. They, with a doubt, have touched many lives, and made differences where it was most needed.
Bill worked successfully as an electrician, and he and his family have always enjoyed traveling and outings together. Bill's pathway to a Parkinson's diagnoses was paved with some misdiagnosis and difficult symptoms, but he's always had the support of his family. Once he found out about Rock Steady, he's been constant and determined, being heavily involved in all opportunities that SWPDFIT has to offer.
Meeting Bill and Judy, it's easy to gather a sense of genuine kindness and a down-to-earth attitude. They both carry a quick smile and automatic friendliness. We're always grateful to have Bill and his rock steady attitude in the gym.
Keep up the good work Bill, you are ROCK STEADY! 💥

Dee, The Dancing Boxer, or is it Dee, The Boxing Dancer?? Either way, Dee brightens up the SWPDFIT gym every time she enters. She has been one of our most consistent boxers from the beginning and always gives her all.
Dee comes from Idaho and cherishes her country background. She has truly made the most of life, being involved in golf, bowling, softball, lots of dancing, and constantly serving her community. She always brings a smile and a whispered joke to whoever is near.
Dee is a fighter forever! 💥
