Feeling Stressed or Anxious? Try This Chest Acupressure Point

If you're feeling stressed, tense, or anxious, try this simple chest acupressure technique. Locate Ren-17 along the center of your sternum, roughly where the ribs come together and about one inch upward. Gently explore up and down the sternum to find a tender spot.

Using your fingertips, massage the tender area in small circles or gently tap it. Take slow, deep breaths as you practice. This simple technique is designed to help your body relax and support a calm, rest-and-digest state.

Your gallbladder has an important job: it stores and concentrates bile, then releases it when you eat to help digest fats. After gallbladder removal, your liver still produces bile, but instead of being stored and released in response to meals, bile flows more continuously into the intestine.

Many people digest food normally after gallbladder removal, while others experience diarrhea, bloating, or difficulty tolerating certain foods. Understanding what changes after surgery helps you better support your digestion.

If you have psychiatric insomnia, try this QRA technique before bed. Starting near your pinky finger, press along the inside of your forearm toward your elbow. Find the most tender spots and massage each one for 30 seconds before moving to the next.

According to Jimmy Acu Sensei, this technique is designed to help support the heart organ system, which he associates with psychiatric insomnia based on his clinical experience treating thousands of patients.
