Allison McCarson has spent over 27 years in nursing and more than two decades as a Certified Nurse Midwife dedicated to caring for women across every stage of life.
After earning her BSN at East Carolina University, she served in the United States Army Nurse Corps and later completed her MSN in Nurse Midwifery at Stony Brook University. Her service took her around the world supporting military families while her husband served active duty.
Driven by a commitment to advancing women’s health, she went on to complete her Doctorate at the University of South Alabama with a focus on evidence-based medicine and translational research.
Today, her passion is centered on hormone health, perimenopause, and menopause care. She is a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), one of the few in Eastern North Carolina, and an Evexias-trained clinician in hormone therapy and integrative functional medicine.
When she’s not caring for patients, she’s with her family on the Crystal Coast walking the beach, boating the Intracoastal, and supporting local small businesses in the community she calls home.
