I was having this conversation with a friend recently…

She knows me more as an acquaintance than a close friend. We see each other occasionally, she might catch me teaching a class, and she sees bits and pieces of my life through social media.

And from the outside, it can probably look like I have it all together. 😁🤪

The truth? Life is really good… but it is far from perfect.

I DO a lot. I take chances. I try new things. I follow what feels meaningful to me. And along the way, I mess up, stumble, get disappointed, make mistakes, and sometimes have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.

I just don’t post all of that.

I don’t put every struggle, setback, or piece of laundry out for everyone to see.

A lot of things have gone wrong as I’ve figured out how to create a life that feels fulfilling and happy. And honestly? Those things are essential.

They’ve taught me. They’ve strengthened me. They’ve redirected me. 💪

So please don’t let social media fool you into thinking someone else has it all figured out—or that you aren’t capable of creating the life you want.

You’re only seeing a small piece of the picture.

The beautiful life isn’t built because everything goes right.
It’s built because we keep going when it doesn’t. 🥰❤️

My yogic path began in my early 20’s… It’s ever evolving, changing and I will probably never fully reach the finish line (there is no finish line).

The more I learn about myself and yoga, I find that I know very little.

Tonight Heat Yoga Studio & Spa while practicing with Frequency of Me , I was reminded…

“Treat YOURSELF the way you want to be treated” & “everything is temporary”. When life is good, embrace it. When life is sh*tty, know that it will pass.

All things I’ve heard before and as I evolve the words hit differently.

Today I’m grateful for the ebbs & flows & my yogic practice that keeps me on the straight and narrow 💫🙏
