✔️ Our APhA-ASP chapter is electing our Executive Board for the 2024 to 2025 school year! Candidates will present their campaign, and members in attendance will vote for each position. This will count as an APhA-ASP chapter meeting.
⬆️ Candidate applications are due TONIGHT at midnight!

🇵🇭 We will enjoy a Filipino food spread and discuss how to serve diverse populations through interactive patient cases.

🩺 APhA-ASP, SNPhA, and SSHP are collaborating to host a discussion led by Dr. Tubb for HPV Awareness Week (January 23-29).
✔️ Extra Credit will be provided to the P2s for Infectious Disease.

👩🏻‍⚕️ Want to practice your patient counseling skills? APhA-ASP is hosting our annual Patient Counseling Competition on January 17 from 11 AM to 12 PM! Participants will have 5 minutes to prepare, then 5 minutes to counsel a "patient" on a new prescription. All P1s to P4s are welcome to participate. White coats and professional dress will be required.
✔️ The winner will participate in the virtual APhA-ASP National Patient Counseling Competition preliminary round from February 15 to 16 to compete for the opportunity to represent our chapter during the APhA Annual Meeting & Exposition from March 22 to 25 in Orlando. Participants who are selected to compete in the final round will receive financial assistance to attend the conference. Sign-up by Monday, January 15!

✔️ Join our Professional Affairs Chair to discuss how to best communicate with other healthcare providers. Dr. David Peters will be speaking on interprofessional communication in the hospital/health system setting from both the pharmacist and MSL perspectives.
