Just recently I’ve finally gotten answers on why I’ve been feeling so stagnant and not making progress even though I feel like I am doing 90% of everything I should be. Going to the gym consistently, lifting heavy, eating decently (let’s be real sometimes it’s hard to eat 100% perfect), and getting my sleep and steps in.
I’ve been officially diagnosed with PC(M)OS.
✨PC(M)OS GALS: LET’S TALK SUPPLEMENTS ✨
If you’re working on supporting your hormones, metabolism, inflammation, and gut health with PC(M)OS, here are a few Legion Athletics products I’ve been loving to help me manage this new diagnosis! 🤍
🌿 Berberine
Berberine is one of the most talked-about supplements for PC(M)OS because of its potential role in supporting blood sugar regulation and insulin sensitivity— two areas that can be especially important for women with PC(M)OS.
🐟 Fish Oil
Omega-3s are known for their anti-inflammatory properties and may support heart health, triglycerides, and overall metabolic health. Since inflammation and cardiovascular risk can be concerns associated with PC(M)OS, omega-3s can be a great addition to a well-rounded routine.
☀️ Vitamin D + K
Vitamin D is important for bone, immune, and overall health, and vitamin D levels can be low in some women with PC(M)OS. Vitamin K works alongside vitamin D in supporting bone and cardiovascular health.
🦠 Biome
Your gut health matters! A healthy gut microbiome plays a role in digestion, immune function, and metabolic health. Supporting your gut with probiotics can be one piece of an overall healthy lifestyle.
✨ BUT REMEMBER: Supplements are just that — supplements. They aren’t a replacement for a balanced diet, exercise, sleep, or medical care, and they don’t “cure” PC(M)OS. PC(M)OS looks different for everyone, so what works for one person may not be right for another.
For me, the goal isn’t finding a magic pill — it’s building a consistent routine that supports my body from the inside out.💕
