He's now become the first patient in Sheffield to receive pioneering treatment in a clinical trial.

🔬 A new study found that glucose levels may help signal oligodendrocyte cells—the cells responsible for making myelin—when to grow and mature. Researchers also found these cells may use alternative energy sources, like ketones, to continue producing myelin when glucose isn’t available. https://bit.ly/4wC5YL6
