Myth: "Adding testosterone to hormone therapy is risky for breast health."

Fact: A 5-year observational study following over 1,200 women on subcutaneous testosterone therapy found breast cancer incidence *lower* than rates reported in SEER data, the Women's Health Initiative, and the Million Women Study.

This doesn't mean testosterone is a guaranteed protective treatment β€” it's one study, and every woman's risk picture is different. But it's a good reminder to question fear-based assumptions and have an actual conversation with your provider about what the evidence says.
