From being a CNA for 9 years to earning her BSN RN and stepping into leadership, she truly understands every level of care and what it takes to support both residents and staff. With experience in respiratory nursing, the Emergency Department, Skilled Nursing, and home health, she brings knowledge, compassion, and heart into everything she does. Starting here as a floor nurse and quickly being recognized for her leadership qualities, she stepped into the ADON role almost 2 years ago and has continued to pour everything she has into this team ever since. As our MDS Coordinator, she works closely with every department to assess residents as a whole person… looking at their medical needs, physical abilities, cognitive status, emotional well-being, nutrition, skin concerns, therapy progress, and overall quality of life. Every assessment helps tell the resident’s story and ensures their care is accurately reflected. She helps coordinate care plans, monitors quality measures, supports regulatory compliance, assists with reimbursement accuracy, and works to make sure residents are receiving the appropriate level of care and services. Her role requires critical thinking, clinical knowledge, teamwork, organization, and constant communication with each department. Rachelle is the life of the party. She’ll be your biggest cheerleader and make sure you never go without your caffeine. She works hard to support our CNA staff while encouraging growth, confidence, and leadership development. Rachelle gives her all in every aspect of life. She works hard, plays hard, and loves her staff and residents even harder. Her passion, energy, and dedication make a lasting impact on everyone around her, and we are so grateful for the example she sets each and every day.
Our CNAs are the heart of our building. They are the hands that hold, the smiles our residents look for, the comfort during hard days, and the familiar faces that make this place feel like home. They work tirelessly every single day helping with daily care, answering call lights, offering encouragement, listening to stories, providing comfort, and advocating for residents when they need it most. The work is physically hard, emotionally demanding, and often goes unseen, but it is some of the most important work there is.
We appreciate everything you all do! 🩵
