A couple of weeks ago, I had the absolute honor of attending an incredible educational conference, learning from the brilliant, relatable, and absolutely hilarious David Weir!

One thing about me? I will NEVER stop learning.

Today marks THREE years with American Wellness for our clinical administrator, Holly O’Neill—and more than 20 years of putting up with me! 😂🫶

Holly and I became friends over 20 years ago while working together in dialysis. Even back then, we worked phenomenally together. Could we frustrate each other during a workday? Absolutely. But at the end of the day, we still loved each other—and that has never changed.

When I first opened American Wellness, Holly came to me and said, “I wanna help you.” My response? “I can’t afford you!” 😂 So she started showing up as a friend, helping on the side for free, until I finally got to a place where I could pay her. She believed in me and this dream from the very beginning.

Today, she pours her energy, her heart, and her compassion into helping run American Wellness. What started as my dream has become her dream, too, and words cannot express how grateful I am for her friendship and professional partnership.

Holly, you are so much more than our administrator. You are one of my best friends, someone who has stood by my side for over two decades, and someone I can count on through it all. I couldn’t imagine anybody else beside me, caring for our patients with a heart of gold, helping my dreams come true, and keeping my ass in line! 😂❤️
