I had a consultation with this new client quite a while ago now. He booked a 2 hr appointment. He reached out a few days before the appointment to inform me he had another appointment to be at and had to reschedule. So we did. For today. Yesterday he again messaged to say he could only do 1 hour due to another appointment he has later in the afternoon. I told him we could not finish his tattoo in 1 hour and canceling or changing his appointment less than 24 hours before would require a new deposit so short notice. He said he would cancle his other appointment. This morning I completed his design in a few hours and sent it to him. We exchanged designing points and agreed. And he then told me he isn't coming because he doesn't have money.. I dont get angry after but I had a hard time swallowing this. Its been a while since ive been stood up by a new client. His nonchalant reply just shows he never intended to follow through. Ive dedicated time, effort, talent and money on this guy who doesn't give a dam. My day is waisted, the hours of work I have applied waisted. The design? Custome but I may be able to utilize part of the design. So maybe not waisted? Silver lining? Anyone want a crocodile? Today? For 300?
