NOW HIRING: EXPERIENCED LAB PHLEBOTOMIST

Cherokee Family Healthcare, LLC is seeking an EXPERIENCED Lab Phlebotomist to join our team.

PLEASE NOTE: PRIOR PHLEBOTOMY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION. WE PREFER SOMEONE FROM CHEROK

Applicants must be confident and proficient with venipuncture and able to work independently in a busy outpatient medical office.

Responsibilities include:

Performing venipuncture and specimen collection
Properly labeling, processing, and preparing specimens
Preparing specimens for transport to reference laboratories
Maintaining accurate patient and specimen information
Following OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and laboratory safety standards
Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory area
Monitoring and stocking laboratory supplies
Communicating professionally with patients and clinical staff
Assisting with other clinical duties as needed

Required qualifications:

Previous professional phlebotomy experience REQUIRED
Strong, proven venipuncture skills REQUIRED
Ability to successfully draw difficult patients
Dependable with strong attendance
Detail-oriented and organized
Excellent patient-care and communication skills
Comfortable working with both adult and pediatric patients
Ability to work efficiently without constant supervision

Preferred:

Outpatient or primary-care office experience
Phlebotomy certification

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
No weekends or holidays

Benefits include paid vacation and paid holidays.

We are specifically looking for an experienced phlebotomist who can step into this position and perform confidently from day one.
