ARToberfest 2026 is happening on 10.3.26 and we will be there tattooing!

Family friendly event with a KIDZONE (now bigger and better!), a diverse food court, local brews from Cult Classic Brewing, and the chance to explore historic sites with the Kent Island Historic Heritage Society.

NEW this year: expanded Main Stage musical performances featuring an exciting lineup of live entertainment throughout the festival and INK OR DYE tattooing!!

Happy Birthday to our Studio Manager, Cindy! 🖤

Today is a little bittersweet as we celebrate someone who has meant so much to Ink or Dye. Cindy has been far more than the person managing schedules, answering phones, responding to emails, sending invoices, and keeping appointments organized. She has been one of the people holding everything together behind the scenes, often taking care of a hundred little details before anyone else even realizes they need to be handled.

So many of our clients have gotten to know Cindy through her kindness, patience, honesty, and willingness to help. Whether she was answering a question, finding the right appointment time, explaining a policy, calming someone’s nerves, or solving a last-minute problem, she always worked hard to make sure people felt heard and taken care of.

To our crew, she has been a steady presence through the busy days, the stressful moments, the laughter, the chaos, and all of the memories made along the way. She has helped keep us organized, reminded us where we needed to be, supported the artists and staff, and given so much of her time and energy to this studio. Her personality, her humor, her familiar voice, and the way she has always shown up for everyone have become such a meaningful part of Ink or Dye.

As Cindy prepares for her next chapter, we’re reminded of just how much she has contributed and how deeply her absence will be felt. The studio simply will not be the same without her here every day. We are going to miss the laughs, the conversations, the problem-solving, the reminders, and all the little moments that made working together feel like family.

Cindy, thank you for everything you have poured into Ink or Dye and into the people around you. Thank you for caring so deeply, working so hard, and helping this studio grow into what it is today. We are incredibly grateful for every memory, every lesson, every laugh, and every moment we have shared with you.

We hope this birthday reminds you of how loved, appreciated, and important you are—not only to the studio, but to all of us personally. Wherever this next chapter takes you, you will always be part of the Ink or Dye family, and you will be missed more than words can say.

Our good friend Jenna, and her family, are going through a hard time with her health right now.

We’ve known her since she was a kid, gave her her first tattoo, and watched her blossom into the phenomenal tattoo artist she is now at Red Octopus.

Some of you may recognize her from her guest spots at Ink or Dye, or even got some work done by her!

Jenna has been diagnosed with liver failure at 24 years old, and is looking for a living doner with type O blood.
