Why does PACE matter?

A major federal study recently confirmed what PACE (known as LIFE in Pennsylvania) participants, caregivers, and care teams have known for years: coordinated, person-centered care works.

The study found that older adults enrolled in PACE/LIFE experienced:
✔ Fewer hospitalizations
✔ Fewer emergency room visits
✔ Better overall health outcomes

At Albright LIFE, our interdisciplinary team works together to provide medical care, therapy, transportation, social services, meals, and more, all focused on helping participants remain safe, healthy, and independent in their homes and communities.

It's not just about treating illness. It's about supporting the whole person.

We had such a blast today at Albright LIFE Franklin spending time with the kids from the YMCA camp! 🎨😊

Participants and campers enjoyed making craft projects together, sharing laughs, and creating special memories across generations. It's always wonderful to see the connections that form when different generations come together for a day of fun and creativity.

Thank you to the YMCA camp for visiting with us! we can't wait to do it again! ❤️

Brenda, our Outreach Coordinator, spent some time today at a local senior apartment building sharing information about LIFE and connecting with residents during a fun “Get the Scoop on LIFE” event! 🍦

We always appreciate opportunities like these to meet seniors where they are, answer questions, and talk about the support and services available to help older adults remain safe and independent at home.

Our participants had some very special visitors this week! 🐾💙

We were thrilled to welcome the wonderful therapy dogs from Kindly Canine, who brought plenty of tail wags, smiles, and comfort to everyone at the day center. From gentle pets to happy conversations, these furry friends truly brightened the day for our participants.

Moments like these remind us how powerful companionship can be — especially when it comes with four legs and a wagging tail!
