The S.O.S (Strength is Our Survivorship) Study The Superwoman. The Strong Black Woman. The woman everyone else calls on to handle all the details. Are you a superwoman? Do you know women who are?

Maybe you know women who aspire to be? A study is being conducted by Dr. Angela Rose Black, a researcher at the University of Illinois that explores how expectations of black womanhood are linked to decision-making for preventive health care. The proposed study would require 60-90 minutes of your time; compensation is provided as well as a raffle for prizes. As a black woman over the age of 18, yo

The Women's Health Collective Lab is currently conducting a study called The S.O.S Strength is Our Survivorship for African American women between the ages of 40-70. To participate in the study women will be asked to fill out a survey. Compensation will be given for those who qualify to participate in the study.
