This is the most bitter sweet post I've ever had to write Designs by Jess has been an amazing part of my life. The clients I have met and supported me through my 11 + career in cosmetology mean the world to me. Covid has been very hard on the hair industry. Clients went grey during closure, people learned they can go longer between appointments, and everyone is just cutting back on things because the price of everything is going up. I know my family and I have had alot of health things the last few months which has also been hard on business. I recieved a job offer at Heartland Eye care center in Slayton. It is a 9 to 5 job with benefits. This will also be beneficial for my family. It has been hard working nights which is 85 percent of my clientele. It puts alot on Shane with getting them places, homework done, and everything else that comes with it. This opportunity feels like the best decision for my family and I. I am and will forever be thankful for all my clients past and present. I will be working through January. If you have an appointment in February i will still honor that but will not be taking anymore that month. Thank you also the the City of Chandler for supporting me throughout my career.
