Spent the day onsite supporting a company in their grief during the immediate aftermath of losing a coworker.

In the midst of shock and grief, I did my best to offer a steady, compassionate presence, helping leaders think through next steps with care, supporting employees with their deep sadness, and keeping the family at the center of our conversation.

Grateful to be trusted to walk alongside organizations during such tender moments. 💛

It’s been a whirlwind few days! After being honored as a recipient at the Arizona Capitol Times Women Achievers of Arizona luncheon, I left immediately to speak at the annual Dignity Memorial Funeral Directors Summit on Compassion Fatigue in Death Care Work.

Because their work is truly 24/7, they asked me to return today to teach the rest of their staff — an incredible honor and testament to their dedication to caring for both the families they serve and their own teams.

The summit was hosted at the Arizona Donor Network, and being surrounded by those who serve bereaved families every single day was deeply moving. I’m grateful to help support the people who sustain compassion in our communities, even in the most difficult moments.

Today I attended the Arizona Capitol Times Women Achievers of Arizona 2025 luncheon, where I was selected as a recipient in the Healthcare category. 💜

It was such an honor to be among so many inspiring women across Arizona who are creating meaningful change in their communities. To be recognized alongside them is both humbling and deeply motivating.

This recognition represents a continued commitment to grief awareness and expanding access to grief affirming therapy for grieving families. I’m grateful to do this work — and to stand among women making Arizona a more compassionate and connected place.
