I was first introduced to the term performance trinity while attending an apprentice coaching program . I was impressed how athlete, coaches, and therapists were working towards the same goal. To improve performance each member of the team must have a common understanding of the model you are working towards. As a result each team member can be held accountable to ensure all efforts work together towards maximizing improved performance.
