Last week, our crews participated in simulation training at Pittsburg State University School of Nursing. These realistic scenarios provide valuable hands-on practice, allowing our flight crews to strengthen their clinical skills, teamwork, and decision-making in a safe learning environment.

A huge thank you to the incredible faculty and staff at Pitt State for partnering with us and helping make these training scenarios possible. We truly appreciate your time, expertise, and continued support!

Great training starts with great partnerships.

We had the opportunity to participate in an EMT Extrication Class, giving attendees a hands-on look at the air medical side of patient care. Crews learned how we safely load patients into the aircraft, key safety considerations around the helicopter, and what makes an effective landing zone.

Thank you to everyone who participated and to the agencies dedicated to training together. Strong teamwork and preparation help ensure the best possible care for our patients when every second counts.

Thank you Bourbon County Fire for the invite.

Join Us as We Honor Our Fallen EMS Heroes

On Wednesday, June 10, our EMS community will gather to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving others.

This year, the National EMS Memorial Service Moving Honors Procession will honor 37 fallen EMS providers, including Kansas City Fire Department Paramedic Graham Hoffman. We invite our community, first responders, healthcare professionals, friends, and families to stand with us as we remember these heroes and send off the "Tree of Life" ambulance on its journey to Arlington, Virginia.

📍 Firefighters Fountain & Memorial (Penn Valley Park)
W. 31st Street & Broadway Blvd.
Kansas City, MO 64108

🕣 Procession Begins: 8:40 AM
🕘 Memorial Ceremony: 9:00 AM
