This makes my heart so happy. ❤️🙏❤️Keystone Program’s Summer Day Camp is one week every summer for kids ages 7-12 and 13-16. KyleStrong funds children who need some financial assistance, Char volunteers for camp, and helps purchase supplies needed for the week. We are grateful for all that KyleStrong does for us and the community. ❤️

One parent shared how meaningful their child’s experience was with Empowerment Through Play after her time at Keystone Summer Camp:

✨ Building Connections: The child loved making new friends—even leaving with a pen pal! As a sensitive soul, she felt completely included, welcome, and comfortable every day.

✨ Emotional Growth & Resilience: Instead of shutting down or acting out during tough moments, she is now able to name her feelings and talk herself through them in a calm, effective way. She also gained a deeper understanding that everyone is different, and that being different is okay.

✨ Positive Family Impact: Having dedicated time for herself away from home allowed her to find her independence. Living with a special needs sibling can come with challenges, but this experience gave her the patience, understanding, and tools to step up as a positive role model.

ATTENTION:

The Geauga Suici** Prevention Coalition is pleased to announce an evening meeting on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., at the Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services office.

This evening meeting is being offered to make participation more accessible for community members whose work schedules prevent them from attending daytime meetings. As the coalition continues to expand its community engagement efforts, we recognize that some of the most valuable ideas, perspectives, and solutions come directly from the people who live, work, and raise families in Geauga County. By offering evening meetings, we hope to remove barriers to participation and create more opportunities for community members to help shape local suici** prevention efforts.

Attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about the coalition, hear about our recent suici** prevention initiatives, and share ideas about how we can continue building hope and strengthening prevention throughout Geauga County. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend. You do not need to be a counselor, mental health professional or representative of an agency to participate. The coalition welcomes residents, family members, people with lived experience, professionals, organizations and anyone who wants to support suici** prevention in Geauga County.

Your voice, experiences and ideas matter. Suici** prevention is a community responsibility, and lasting change happens when people from all backgrounds come together to identify needs, share solutions and support one another. Whether you have personal experience, professional expertise, or simply want to make a difference, we invite you to join us as we work together to create a safer, more connected community.
