Personal growth is not a straight line.
It is a dance that moves forward and back through time—bringing us into deeper intimacy with ourselves, and into recognition of the threads that were there all along.
There are signs we do not understand when they first appear. Moments that feel random. Encounters, losses, longings, departures, and unexpected turns that only reveal their meaning when we have traveled far enough to look back.
Then we see them.
The mile markers.
The invitations.
The quiet confirmations that something deeper was guiding the way.
There are moments on this journey when you stand tall and quietly applaud yourself because no one else is there to do it. Moments when you realize how far you have come, how much you have carried, how many versions of yourself you have released simply to remain true.
And there are other moments when you are on your knees.
Sometimes in tears, at a breaking point—when death is at the door and something in you is being asked to be reborn.
Other times, in humble gratitude and devotion to the mystery. In those rare, unspoken moments when the heart opens so completely that it recognizes its union with soul, spirit, life itself.
The Rebel Road was real.
And it was also a metaphor for the leap each of us is called to take: willingly entering the unknown, diving into the abyss, and allowing the identities that no longer serve us to fall away.
That is not failure.
That is not losing yourself.
It is the holy work of softening enough to remember—to see, hear, and know what could not be revealed before.
In Conversations with the Universe, I began by exploring the signs: the whispers, symbols, and moments that invite us to pay attention.
In Threads from the Universe, the view matures. The signs are no longer isolated miracles. They become part of a living tapestry in which every thread, even the painful ones, has been integral.
The road keeps unfolding.
And so do we.
Threads From the Universe is now available in paperback and ebook.
