🍓 Strawberries are not true berries, but rather accessory fruits in the rose family.

🍓Eight strawberries have more Vitamin C than 1 orange.

🍓The seeds on the outside are actually tiny, individual fruits called “achenes”.

🍓The fear of strawberries is known as Fragariaphobia.

🍓When you buy $20 worth of U-pick strawberries, make them into a crumble, then drop the entire thing on the floor and it shatters, you will inevitably go back for more strawberries and a new dish because it was THAT GOOD. (And then realize next year you will be planting strawberries.)

Ever wondered how food bloggers and photographers make their food look so good? 😋

There’s a lot of hacks out there, but I thought it might be fun to watch me dismantle a dish I just shot photos of so you could see which ones I used for this dish!

📷 #1 tip: Hot food does NOT photograph well. Cold food is firm and stays in place. I typically cook everything, refrigerate it, then assemble later or the next day!
