Two things can be true at the same time.

Families deserve access to critical autism services and support.
And protecting the integrity of Medicaid waiver programs matters, too.

At TACA, we believe we can hold both truths:

โœ”๏ธ Families desperately need waiver services
โœ”๏ธ Strong safeguards help ensure these programs remain sustainable for the future

The conversation around Medicaid waivers is complex, but families need clear information, balanced discussion, and practical guidance right now.

The South Carolina Department of Education is surveying parents of students receiving Special Education services through the Department.

Please take a moment to answer the quick six-question survey โ€” your responses will help guide efforts to improve services and results for children and families. Your responses will help the SC Department of Education plan for the future and find tools that are evidence-based and parent-recommended to encourage family engagement in their childโ€™s education.

Feel free to share this survey with other parents.
