We are so proud of the George Washington High School Heart Club! Not only are they the state's first ever Heart Club, but they are one of only 32 recipients of a $4,500 national grant from the American Heart Association that will help make their school - and their community - a safer place! Here is a wonderful story about their first in-class student CPR training from Manvitha Sanjaya, president of the school's Heart Club! Very timely for !

🚨 ATTENTION MORGANTOWN: We are officially entering our “begging for volunteers” era. 🚨
Do you enjoy:
✅ Being a good human
✅ Free snacks and water
✅ Telling your friends, “I helped save lives this weekend”
✅ Mildly organized chaos
Then we have the opportunity for you!
The Morgantown Heart Walk is this Saturday, and we’re still looking for a few amazing volunteers to help with setup, hydration stations, kid zone activities, and teardown.
No experience required. If you can smile, carry a box, point someone in the right direction, or hand out water, you’re qualified. This is a great opportunity for community organizations, school clubs, scout troops, or other groups who want to help in the community!
Help us make this year’s Heart Walk a success—and prevent me from having to recruit random shoppers in the Target parking lot. ❤️😂
