Nearly 12 million Americans are providing unpaid care for loved ones living with Alzheimer’s or dementia, totaling more than 18 billion hours of care each year, according to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Caregiving can take a real toll:
* 70% of caregivers report feeling stressed
* 27% experience symptoms of depression
* 30% are over the age of 65 themselves

Caregiving is meaningful, but it’s also hard work. You don’t have to navigate it alone. MADRC’s Road Map to Caregiving booklet offers a comprehensive guide to resources, support, and practical tools to help along the journey. Available in English and Spanish: madrc.org/community/
